Patients may be missing teeth for many different reasons including trauma or malnutrition. Regardless, of the cause, partial dentures can fill the gaps in smiles. With removable or fixed dentures, the beauty and health of smiles can be restored safely and effectively. Dr. Jones sees patients from Social Circle, GA and beyond at our practice, Social Circle Dental. Patients seek Dr. Jones and our team for our holistic and biological approach to dental care. We understand, and are mindful of the effect the mouth, teeth, and gums can have on the whole body. Therefore, we offer safe, conservative, and highly effective treatments such as dentures to improve the health of smiles.

What is it like living with partial dentures? Patients can count on a restored ability to bite and chew properly, which can improve digestion. Missing teeth can make it difficult to pronounce certain words. Partial dentures can restore the ability to speak clearly. There are emotional benefits as well. When patients can smile confidently they are more inclined to enjoy socializing. This can increase self-esteem and renew confidence in their personal and professional lives.

Studies show people with attractive smiles are more likely to get promoted at work. Smiles are among the first features people notice when meeting others. Attractive smiles can instill the confidence needed to land jobs or go on dates. Smiling releases endorphins, naturally boosting the mood.

At Social Circle Dental, we observed patients with attractive smiles are more inclined to keep them healthy. Therefore, they are more diligent about brushing their teeth at least twice a day for 2 minutes as recommended by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Flossing becomes a daily habit to ensure food is removed between the teeth and gums. They begin scheduling and keeping their dental check-ups for cleanings and examinations.

Dr. Jones has been delivering healthier smiles for more than 45 years. If you suffer from tooth loss, he would be happy to meet with you and explore all of your tooth replacement options. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Jones, call 770-464-1900 today.

Thanks for sharing such great information. Partial dentures are removable dental prosthetics that are used to replace missing teeth in the lower jaw. They are used to replace one or more missing teeth in the maxilla or mandible.

A partial denture is constructed of plastic and is fashioned to fit the lower arch of the mouth. It is secured in place by adhering to natural teeth on either side. The patient will need to acclimate to wearing them, as they will feel different than natural teeth.

Wearing a partial denture can be inconvenient and challenging for a variety of reasons:

1) Partial dentures frequently do not fit properly, resulting in irritation or discomfort.

2) Because the partial denture's front is so apparent, some individuals may feel embarrassed to wear it.

3) When speaking, eating, or drinking, the partial denture may fall out of the mouth.

Thank you for this educational blog post! Partial dentures are a type of removable dental prosthetic that is used to replace teeth in the lower jaw. They're utilized to fill up gaps in the maxilla or mandible where one or more teeth are missing.

A partial denture is a removable appliance made of plastic that fits over the lower arch of the mouth. It adheres to natural teeth on both sides to keep it in place. Because they would feel different than natural teeth, the patient will need to get used to wearing them.

For a multitude of reasons, wearing a partial denture might be inconvenient and difficult:

- Partial dentures are typically ill-fitting, causing irritation and pain.
- Because the front of the partial denture is so visible, some people may be ashamed to wear it.
- The partial denture may fall out of the mouth when speaking, eating, or drinking.
