Dental crowns can be ideal for strengthening and protecting teeth. They can be used to restore function, health, and beauty to the smile. When patients in Monroe have chipped, cracked, or severely discolored teeth, they turn to Dr. Jones and the team in Social Circle.

Depending on patient needs, we provide same-day crowns by utilizing CEREC (Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic) software. Many patients ask about the benefits of CEREC technology. We are happy to explain.

Convenient treatment

We understand time is of the essence. Utilizing CEREC technology, we can provide crowns in a single appointment. For treatment, there is minimal tooth preparation to ensure the crown will fit nicely. Then, we take digital impressions of the mouth. The impressions are used to create a 3-D image of the crown on the computer. This provides the opportunity for us to show you how the crown will look before the data is transferred to a milling machine. We will then place a block of porcelain in the machine. Once the crown is completed, we will ensure precise color and fit before bonding it to the tooth. In about an hour, you can walk away with a transformed smile.

Safe and effective technology

Dr. Jones is a holistic and biological dentist who is mindful of the effects dental treatments can have on the body. Therefore, he utilizes the safest and most effective technology. With CEREC, we utilize digital technology to provide beautiful results. Same-day crowns can be ideal for restoring damaged teeth quickly. This convenient, as well as safe and effective procedure, demonstrates advances in dentistry.

We use ceramic, which is a strong and durable material, to create the dental crowns. As a mercury free dental practice, we also use composite resin for dental fillings. Composite resin is a versatile, tooth-colored material. Porcelain and composite resin blend nicely with the smile, making them ideal materials for cosmetic and restorative treatments.

Are you looking for a method to restore a tooth in a single appointment? A same-day crown may be ideal for you. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Jones today by calling 770-464-1900.
