While many dentists are focused on the health of the smile, some also want to ensure patients have a beautiful smile to show off to others. Cosmetic dentistry used to be for the Hollywood elite, but now, everyone can enjoy improvements to their smiles that look natural and last many years!

Cosmetic dentistry encompasses a number of different treatments. Patients interested in a “smile makeover” or full mouth reconstruction may combine a variety of these treatments to achieve their desired results.

Some of the cosmetic dentistry procedures available to Social Circle, GA area patients through Social Circle Dental include:
    •    Dental bridges
    •    Dental crowns
    •    Dentures (full and partial)
    •    Dental fillings
    •    Porcelain veneers
    •    Professional teeth whitening
    •    Dental implants
    •    Composite resin bonding

To determine the most appropriate treatments for the smile, Dr. Jones will start with a full examination. Dr. Jones may take a series of x-rays and discuss with patients what displeases them about the appearance of their smile. He can then make suggestions based on this information to help patients feel attractive and stop hiding their smiles behind their hands.

Full mouth reconstruction, or a smile makeover, is typically achieved by combining two or more of these procedures. Patients may want to work out a custom treatment plan if they intend to make dramatic changes to their smiles and address several issues at once. Our practice also offers sedation dentistry to make extensive treatments more manageable and comfortable for our patients.

Patients in and around the Social Circle, GA area who are interested in finding out if cosmetic dentistry procedures are appropriate for them are welcome to contact the team at Social Circle Dental today. Dr. Jones and his staff are here to assist individuals in finding ways to enhance their smiles.

Thank you for this educational blog post! Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry that focuses on improving the appearance of teeth and gums.

Cosmetic dentistry can be done as an addition to general dental treatment, or as a standalone treatment.

Cosmetic dentists can remove stains from teeth, straighten crooked or misshapen teeth, and replace missing teeth with crowns. They can also improve the shape and alignment of the gum line and alter tooth size by grinding down the tooth enamel.

It was nice reading this blog post! It's very informative. Braces can also be a great way to get a smile makeover in a simple and affordable way.

Braces are a type of orthodontic appliance that is used to move teeth into the right position. They are most commonly used on children with crowded or crooked teeth, but people of any age can have braces fitted.

The most common type of braces are metal brackets which are attached to the fronts of teeth and held in place by metal wires which run from bracket to bracket. These brackets, known as "bands" or "headgear," force the person's teeth into alignment by exerting gentle pressure on them through their lips.

These appliances work by applying constant pressure over time, gradually forcing the upper and lower jaws closer together until they meet in what is called "occlusion."
